Soviet Space Programme (1957–1975)

From Sputnik to the Moon race, Soviet space posters celebrated cosmonaut heroism with specific visual language: rocket silhouettes against star fields, heroic figures in pressure suits, orbital diagrams as decorative geometry. More optimistic and forward-looking than general Soviet propaganda — these are images of the actual future, not ideological present — and they have aged into something genuinely beautiful.

Fête poster

This time it chose a towering retro space rocket blasting away from Earth, with stars, orbital lines and the fête details set around it. A second attempt would stay inside the same tradition and give you a different rocket or cosmonaut instead.

Gig poster

This time it went with a heroic Soviet cosmonaut rising above Earth, with a moon, stars, orbital lines and a pencil-like rocket. A second attempt would stay inside the same tradition and give you a different rocket or cosmonaut instead.
